This KitchenAid food scale features a double platform design for high-performance accuracy. The two different weighing surfaces can handle larger amounts up to 11 pounds in 0.1 oz increments, such as flours, as well as smaller amounts of 16 ounces in 0.001 oz increments for ingredients like yeast and spices. This ensures precise measurements for scratch baking.

The dual platforms of this ultra-precise scale can operate together or independently, and a dual reading backlit display shows both weights. Each platform also includes a Tare feature to zero out container weights or reset the display between ingredients. The stainless steel platforms are easy to clean with a simple wipe down using a damp cloth and boast a slim design for easy storage.

The scale has a maximum capacity of 11lb x 0.1oz and 5000g x 1g on platform 1, and 16oz x 0.001oz and 500g x 0.01g on platform 2. Its unique two-line backlit LCD readout can calculate weights for both platforms simultaneously. Additionally, the Tare feature allows for all ingredients to be weighed into one container, zeroing out weights between additions and before adding food.

Powered by three AAA batteries (included), the scale can be powered off or will auto shut-off after 3 minutes of no change in weight on the platform.
